About the Luvan Glass Mixing Bowls with Lids
Our Glass Mixing Bowls come in five sets, from three bowls up to five, and every bowl has its own polypropylene lid with two inner clips. The largest set runs 1.1, 2.7 and 4.5 quarts, enough for a big salad, a loaf of dough or a family pasta. The glass is thick borosilicate that goes from the freezer to the fridge and into a preheated oven, so you can mix, bake, serve and put leftovers away in the same bowl. The lids come off before the oven, the microwave and the dishwasher. The bowls nest inside each other in one stack.
It is the one mixing bowl set in the Luvan kitchen line.
Key features
- Five sets: Three bowls (1.1 to 4.5 qt or 1.1 to 3.7 qt), four bowls (1 to 3.7 qt or 0.53 to 3.7 qt) or five bowls (0.2 to 3.75 qt).
- A lid for every bowl: Polypropylene lids with two inner clips that press into place.
- Borosilicate glass: Freezer, fridge, microwave and preheated oven, without the lid.
- Nesting: The bowls stack into one when you put them away.
- Clear sides: You see the dough rise and what is left in the fridge.
How to use it
- 1
Mix in the bowl, then press the lid on: push both clips fully into place.
- 2
For the oven or the microwave, take the lid off first.
- 3
If a lid feels tight after long storage, soak it in hot water for 3 to 5 minutes and press it on while warm.
- 4
Put bowls and lids in the dishwasher separately, lids on the top rack.
Where it fits
Salad for the table, cookie and bread dough, marinating meat, meal prep for the week and leftovers in the fridge. The smallest bowls hold chopped herbs, dressings and dips.
