Pickles out, brine in
Our pickle jar is an hourglass of glass with a strainer in the waist. Turn it over and the brine drains to the lower half, so you lift pickles or olives out with your fingers and no fork goes into the brine. Turn it back and they soak again. It comes in 25, 34 and 46 ounces, with lids in four colors.
Bacon fat, strained
The grease keepers have a fine-mesh strainer on top that catches the crisp bits when you pour warm bacon fat in, and a spout to pour it back into the pan later. The EPA asks that cooking oil and grease never go down the drain, and a keeper by the stove makes that easy.

Questions
Questions about Luvan pickle jars and grease keepers
How do you drain the brine in a Luvan pickle jar?
There is a strainer in the waist of the hourglass. Turn the jar over and the brine runs to the lower half, so the pickles sit dry on top.
Which Luvan pickle jar size should you get?
The 34 oz jar holds a standard store jar of pickles with brine. The 25 oz suits olives and jalapeños, the 46 oz a family that goes through pickles fast.
Should you pick the glass or the steel Luvan grease keeper?
Glass shows how much is left and holds 1.5 liters. Stainless steel holds 2 liters and stands on a coaster tray that catches drips.
