One table, four people, warm butter

The 33-piece set is built for four: a cracker, a fork, a lobster sheller and a butter warmer for each person, plus seafood scissors and tealights. If you want bigger cups of butter, or a warmer for fondue later in the evening, add a set of four ceramic warmers in the size you like, from 4 oz rounds to 14.2 oz cups.

Tealights are open flames. The U.S. Fire Administration asks you to keep candles 12 inches from anything that burns and to blow them out when you leave the room, so set the warmers on a clear, heat-safe spot away from napkins and newspaper. Melted butter and drippings go in the trash, never the drain: the EPA says not to pour grease down it.

Questions

Questions about the Luvan seafood tools

How many people can you serve with the Luvan crab cracker set?

Four. It has 4 crackers, 4 forks, 4 lobster shellers and 4 butter warmers, plus seafood scissors and 14 tealights.

Which Luvan butter warmer size should you buy?

The 4 and 5 oz rounds hold butter for one person through a meal. The 7 oz squares and the 14.2 oz cups suit fondue and sharing.

Can you use Luvan butter warmers for chocolate fondue?

Yes. Melt the chocolate first, pour it into the cups and let the tealight keep it warm. Keep the warmers away from anything that burns and never leave them lit and alone.
