Flip the hot dog and press again for a full pattern. The scored skin opens on the grill and holds more of the sauce. The blades are stainless steel, the handles ABS, and the whole thing weighs 254 grams and goes in the dishwasher blade side down. Firm, skinless hot dogs give the cleanest pattern.
